Inspiring Tale of Generosity and Kindness: The Teddy Bear Love Fund (formerly Stuffed with Love)
“Our mission commenced with a generous donation of 350 brand-new stuffed animals to the Columbus Indiana Fire Department and Columbus Indiana Police Department. Fast forward to 2023, our heartfelt journey persists as our 12-year-old grandson, Roger Douglass, collaborates with his Seymour Young Marines Group to continue this impactful tradition as Stuffed With Love. Together, they’ve amassed an incredible 2,109 stuffed animals, bringing comfort and joy to children facing adversity. Despite a copyright adjustment that led to a name change, the essence of this wonderful program remains unchanged—now known as the Teddy Bear Love Fund moved forward and received their 501c3 non-profit status.
